PROOF OF CONCEPT

As shown in the film, the photography initiative succeeded in its aim of repairing probation's image.  Local television covered NeON:Photography and gallery exhibit openings in Brooklyn and Chelsea, while the program even came to the attention of the out-of-town press. (The widespread acclaim accorded the book and film would promote probation's reputation even further.)
